Workforce Confidence Support
Krystal Allerby l People Uplift
Confidential support is available to women in our community.
Introducing, Krystal from People Uplift. Krystal supports women in our community who need a helping hand with work and employment Whether you’re returning to the workforce, navigating a career change, rebuilding after hardship, or simply unsure where to start, you will be supported with practical guidance and respect.
About Krystal
Re-entering the workforce can feel daunting, and if you’re not sure where to even begin, that’s completely okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out.
I’m Krystal, an HR and career coach based on the Gold Coast. I care deeply about people, all kinds of people, from all walks of life. Having lived and worked across four countries, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with women from incredibly diverse backgrounds and experiences, and that shapes how I show up in every conversation, with genuine curiosity, warmth, and zero judgement.
People often tell me that our sessions feel like a safe space, somewhere they can be honest about where they’re at, ask the questions they might feel too embarrassed to ask anywhere else, and walk away feeling clearer and a little more like themselves.
I’ve spent over 15 years working in HR and talent at companies including Facebook, Canva, and Carnival, and I now run my own coaching and consulting business, People Uplift.
Away from work, I’m passionate about human and animal rights, and my husband and I share our home with a very loved rescued greyhound. Supporting women to build confidence in interviews and job applications is some of the work I’m most proud of, which is exactly why I’m here.
Whatever brought you here, I’m glad you found this page. Come as you are - we’ll work the rest out together.
What I can help with
Sessions are tailored to what you need, no two women come with the same situation, and that’s okay. Here are some of the things we might work through together:
-
Interview confidence.
-
Practical tips, mock interviews, and building the confidence to walk into any interview feeling prepared.
-
Resume coaching.
-
Guidance on what makes a strong resume and how to present your experience, even if it’s been a while.
-
Navigating job applications.
-
How to find roles, what to look for, and how to put together a strong application from start to finish.
-
Returning to work.
-
If you’ve had a gap in your career and aren’t sure where to start, we can work through that together, figuring out where to even begin.
How it works
Sessions are held online, one-to-one, via video call, so you can join from wherever you are. This support is completely free. Krystal volunteers her time because she believes every woman deserves the chance to show up confidently in the workforce.
